I Shahrzad Ardalan will be spear heading the membership drive for the International Society for Children with Cancer. Dear friends please come and join me and let’s save a life together. I have pledged to add 1000 new members to ISCC by 2012. I would like to invite you to help me achieve this goal by becoming a member of the ever growing family of ISCC a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization to help reduce pediatric cancer.

Cancer doesn’t have to be a death sentence anymore.
The purpose for the formation of ISCC is to make a difference in the mortality rate of impoverished children with cancer in third world countries. In doing so since June of 2004 ISCC became the beacon of light in a parent's darkest night. The driving force behind the organization is the fundamental belief that no child is ever denied treatment because of the family’s inability to pay.

Its Mission is “to make a difference in the lives of cancer- stricken children, adolescents, and their families, by giving them access to the highest quality care and service possible, regardless of their financial status”. ISCC’s foremost responsibilities are to the children with cancer, their families, and to the donors that have committed their personal resources toward its Mission.

To fully meet these responsibilities, the organization is committed to a clear set of values. These values are the standards of behavior that ISCC uses to guide its daily actions and decisions. The International Society for Children with Cancer, ISCC, values of ethical behavior are an important part of who they are, and incorporating these principals into the fabric of the institution directly impacts their ability to make progress toward achieving its goals, and simultaneously strengthening the organizations reputation.

ISCC has a commitment to its donors that every dollar donated will be wisely spent toward achieving their Mission. Because of its strong and dedicated volunteer support their commitment is realized enabling them to give over 90% of every dollar raised to the program directly.
